Born and raised in Mumbai, Ali Vora is a 27 years old self-taught artist. Having a strong affinity towards drawing and painting, Ali Vora started doing art at a young age of 8 years and developed an expertise in charcoal drawings and sketches on paper and canvas paintings with years of practice and dedication. His works are true examples of detailed simplicity conveying a story and appealing thoughtfulness that really grabs the audience’s attention. During his school times, he won many drawing competitions at school levels and one at state level and was passionate to contribute significantly to the art world. After moving to Germany in 2015 for his Master’s studies, he never ceased to do art.
His motivations behind doing art are the unseen and endless beauty of this universe that he personifies them on paper/canvas in an artistic manner. He is influenced by various themes to name a few, Women, Nature, Animals etc. Theme of women sketches form an integral part of his collection as his life has been influenced mostly by women. As an avid lover of nature and animals, they too contribute majorly in his collection. He constantly works on discovering new themes and working on different media that is inspiring in itself.
